NYPD arrest man in Hudson death

CITY OF HUDSON – A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of Floyd Sanders back in February.

Sanders, 28, of Hudson was beaten in an apartment at 449 State Street on February 16, 2008. The beating was so severe that he died a week later in the hospital.

City police had arrested Kevin Allen, 27, and Kari Cordato, 29, and charged them with gang assault and manslaughter.

Now, New York City Police arrested Timothy Moffiso, 41, of New York City, in connection with the crime. They arrested him late Saturday night and charged him with gang assault in the first degree and manslaughter in the first degree.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
