| Police continue to investigate apparent homicide in Newburgh NEWBURGH – Newburgh City Police continue to investigate the apparent murder of a man early Sunday morning. As first reported by MidHudsonNews.com on Sunday, the man was found dead in a hallway at 72 Lander Street early Sunday morning, Lt. Charles Broe said. The victim’s identity has not been released as his family has yet to be notified. Broe said the body was found around 4:30 a.m. The cause of death has not been revealed. Broe said it was not known if the man was local. In recent months, two teenagers were murdered on the streets of
