| Man shot dead in Poughkeepsie POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police in Poughkeepsie are investigating the shooting death of a man on a city street minutes after midnight on Friday morning. Police responded to the area of 81 Cannon Street and found Naquan James, 22, of Poughkeepsie, with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Saint Francis Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The murder investigation is continuing and police are asking anyone
with information to call them at 845-451-4000 or the TIP Line at
