Teen sentenced for attacking counselor at
school
WHITE PLAINS – a 17-year-old Brooklyn youth was sentenced
Tuesday in Westchester County Court to 10 years in state prison
for attacking his counselor at The Lincoln Hall School for troubled
youths in Somers.
Marcus Fraser was sentenced on his plea to attempted criminal sexual
act in the first degree, a felony.
The charge stemmed from Fraser’s attack on his counselor
as he was in her office to discuss a discharge plan from the school.
At the end of the meeting, he shook the woman’s hand and instead
of leaving, locked the office door, went behind her desk where she
was seated and demanded that he perform a sex act on him.
When she refused, Fraser punched her repeatedly in the face and
body, breaking her nose. The woman’s screams during the attack
brought several co-workers to the door, which they unlocked.
Fraser fled the scene, but was apprehended by State Police.
