Police probe three vehicle break-ins

POUGHKEEPSIE -- City of Poughkeepsie Police are investigating three vehicle break-ins that occurred over the weekend.

Sometime before 2 a.m. on April 25, a vehicle was broken into on Market Street. Two pocketbooks were taken.

On April 26, sometime between midnight and noon, a vehicle was broken into on South Clover Street.

On April 27, between 1:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., a vehicle was broken into on Cannon Street. A laptop computer and GPS system were taken.

City Police urge motorists not to leave valuables in their vehicles, especially in plain view.
