| Woman’s body found in dry well PHOENICIA – A local woman was found dead in a dry well near her home in Phoenicia Tuesday morning, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office reported. Authorities identified the woman as Kalie Herdman, 21, of 31 Station Road in Phoenicia. She was dead by the time police and EMS personnel got to the scene. Sheriff’s deputies were assisted by New York City Department of Environmental Protection Police, Town of Shandaken Police and State Police. The investigation continues. |
