Police investigate fatal shooting at Sullivan County hotel

CALLICOON – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of a waitress at the Western Hotel in Callicoon early Sunday morning.

Authorities said the woman, identified as Lori Schubeler, 41, was shot in the hotel’s bar.

No arrests have been made, officials said. The woman was shot in the hotel’s bar and police continue to investigate what precipitated the incident.

A possible suspect has been questioned in the case.
