West Coast fugitive arrested

WALDEN – A fugitive from California was been arrested by Walden Village Police.

Luis Carrion, 24, was arrested on Thursday evening when police investigated a noise complaint on Scofield Street.

Police determined that Carrion had given them false social security number in an attempt to hide his identity.

Carrion was wanted by the Marin County Sheriff's Office for felony reckless driving and evading a police officer.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that they would extradite him on their charges. Carrion was turned over to the Orange County Sheriff's Office without bail pending extradition.
