Two arrested in stabbing incident
TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Town Police in Poughkeepsie have arrested
two men on assault charged for allegedly injuring two others on
Monday evening.
Police responded to a parking lot adjacent to North Road and found
two men who had been stabbed. One suffered a stab wound to his torso.
He was transported to St. Francis Trauma Center by Fairview Fire
Department.
A second victim was located. He sustained a small laceration to
his face and declined medical attention.
Police investigated and arrested Zakeen Rasheed Johnson, 27, of
the City of Poughkeepsie and Jamal Graham, 23, of Poughkeepsie.
Both were charged with felony assault. Johnson was also charged
with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and criminal
contempt in the second degree, both misdemeanors.
Both men were arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail
on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
