Gas station clerk robbed at gunpoint

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police Tuesday night were looking for the man who held up a Mobil Mini Mart 475 North Street in the Washington Heights section of the Town of Wallkill.

A man walked into the station minutes past 9 p.m., placed a black handgun to the female clerk’s head and demanded money. He fled with an undetermined amount of cash in an unknown direction.

Police describe the bandit as a black male, five feet, eight inches tall, with a thin build and wearing a black hoody.

Wallkill Town Police are investigating the incident. Anyone who might have witnessed the suspect or the robbery is asked to call Wallkill Town Police Detective Bureau at 845-692-7863.
