Another drug sweep suspect arrested

NEWBURGH – The count is now up to 83 arrested with 32 more people being sought in the Operation Protect Our Children drug indictment sweep in the City of Newburgh.

City Police arrested Sean Lamar Cotton, 19, of North Miller Street in Newburgh on felony drug charges including for selling drugs in or near a school zone.

Police were looking for a total of 115 individuals since the sweep began.

Cotton was located when police stopped a vehicle on Lander Street. He was one of the occupants of the vehicle.
