Wanted person is apprehended

CITY OF HUDSON – City Police have arrested a 19-year-old Hudson man, who was wanted on a warrant for two counts of reckless endangerment in the first degree, a felony. Ishaan Smith was also wanted for unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree and traffic law violations.

Smith is also on parole.

City of Hudson Police and a state parole officer from Albany apprehended Smith at an apartment at the 800 block of Union Street without incident.

With the assistance of Smith’s grandmother, he complied and turned himself over to Hudson Police after police surrounded the apartment complex and his grandmother repeatedly called for him to give up.
