Teen charged with assaulting his father

ROSENDALE – Rosendale Police have charged a 17-year-old with physically injuring his father by throwing him into a wall.

Police said the domestic dispute occurred on Orchard Place in Tillson.

Police found Thomas Boyle, 17, having a physical confrontation with his father, Matthew Doyle, Sr., 52. The son is alleged to have thrown his father into a way, causing injuries that required treatment at Kingston Hospital.

The son was arrested and charged with assault in the second degree, a felony, and harassment in the second degree, a violation.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster county Jail.
