GOSHEN – A Unionville woman was sentenced to 10 years in state prison Thursday for her part in a plan to set fire to her father-in-law’s house in the Village of Unionville last October in hopes of killing him.

Tracey Doyle, 35, pled guilty to second-degree arson in connection with a number of arsons at John Doyle’s home.

Her son, Donald Doyle, Jr., 16, who also pled guilty to third-degree arson, was sentenced to one to three years in prison, and her daughter, Shannon Kays, 20, was sentenced to two to six years in prison on the same charge.

A fourth person involved, Michael Springer, 22, of Vernon, NY, will be sentenced later.
