Two charged with drug possession in Sullivan County

MONTICELLO – Police have charged two people with possession of drugs after a search of a room at the Super 8 Motel in Monticello Saturday night revealed a quantity of drugs.

Armed with a search warrant, Monticello Village Police entered room 115 and recovered 104 decks of heroin, over a quarter ounces of crack cocaine and a small amount of marijuana.

Arrested were Chelsea Slater, 19, of Middletown and Donald Banner, 33, of Brooklyn.

They were each charged with two counts of drug possession in the third degree, possession in the fourth degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Both were remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail pending further court action.
