Drugs seized, suspect arrested

POUGHKEEPSIE – Armed with a search warrant, Poughkeepsie City Police arrested a 27-year-old city man Tuesday night, seized drugs and drug packaging materials.

Jason Cann was charged with criminal possession of drugs in the third degree, a felony. Cocaine and marijuana were recovered from his 37 Main Street apartment along with packaging materials and a scale. About $200 in cash was also seized.

Additional charges are pending, police said.
