Saugerties man charged with trafficking in marijuana

KINGSTON – The URGENT task force has arrested a Saugerties man on charges that he trafficked in marijuana in the Saugerties area.

John Kuriplach, 21, was arrested Tuesday night at his home at 3667 Route 32, after police received complaints that he was selling and growing marijuana.

URGENT members purchased quantities of pot from Kuriplach during the course of the investigation that began in January.

He was charged with felony criminal sale of marijuana in the second and third degree and remanded to the Ulster county Jail on $1,500 bail or $5,000 property bond.
