Nanuet man guilty of attempted murder in the second degree and other
charges in connection with an April 17, 2007 incident.
Russell Trojan, 51, was convicted for attacking and stabbing a code
enforcement officer repeatedly. The officer from the Town of Clarkstown
was outside Trojan’s residence conducting an investigation

from the side and began stabbing him with a knife. Trojan kept stabbing
the officer until a neighbor interceded and subdued him. That neighbor
held Trojan until the police arrived.

he was admitted for one week with wounds to his hand, arm and chest.
