Kingston man arrested on drug charges

KINGSTON – The Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team has arrested a 28-year-old Kingston man on drug charges after they received several complaints about his alleged drug activities.

Police secured a search warrant on the home of Joshua Sickler, at 63 Stephan Street. He wasn’t home when they executed that warrant, but they did find cocaine, electronic scales, drug packaging material and $5,500 in cash.

Sickler turned himself into police on Wednesday afternoon. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree.

He was released on an appearance ticket.
