Ulster man arrested on drug charges

KINGSTON – Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies Sunday morning arrested a Hurley man on drug charges.

Ryan Cahill, 18, was pulled over early Sunday morning for traffic violations while on Hurley Avenue in the City of Kingston.

He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree and unlawful possession of fireworks. When police stopped his vehicle, they said Cahill had a quantity of marijuana, a digital scale and several fireworks.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Kingston City Court.
