| Man caught stealing computer, other items from car CORNWALL – A New Windsor teen was arrested early Saturday morning by Cornwall Town Police after officers saw him steal a computer, radio, camera and wallet from a vehicle parked on Agnes Street. Officers approached Ramzie Jawad, 17, after he took the items from the vehicle. He took off on foot, during which he tossed the computer, damaging it. Police got him a short distance away and charged him with petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal mischief. He was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail on $2,000 bail. The incident took place at 1:45 a.m. |
