Two sought in cabbie assault

Middletown – Police are looking for two men who assaulted a cab driver Monday afternoon in the City of Middletown.

A cabbie picked up two men at a Patio Road address in the Town of Wallkill and took them to a Beatty Avenue, City of Middletown address Monday evening.

One of the men gave the cabbie fare and when the driver went to give back change, he was punched in the face by one of the men.

The suspects fled on foot, according to police reports.
